Office hours are Monday through Wednesday and Friday, 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M., Thursdays, 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M., and Saturdays, 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., excluding holidays. Providers are available to meet the urgent health care needs of patients after hours. Cottonwood Medical Center's physicians are not on staff at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center. If you are hospitalized, the hospital physician or hospitalist will attend to your care while working closely with your physician.
When calling during office hours, for most expeditious
service, decide what you need before you call. For
medical advice, ask to leave a call back number and
detailed message. For prescription refills, call your
pharmacy and ask them to call our prescription refill
line. For appointments, insurance, referrals, medical
record requests, or billing issues, select the
appropriate option from the telephone menu. For other
issues, please ask the operator for advice.
If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911 and
ask to be taken to the nearest appropriate hospital.
Cottonwood Medical Center, Ltd.’s after hours and
weekend services are designed to assist you with your
urgent medical needs. A provider is always available to
help with urgent health issues by dialing (520)413-
2063. Calls regarding prescription refills, insurance
issues, etc., should be made during regular business
hours.
Cottonwood Medical Center, Ltd. experiences a larger volume of patients during the winter months. It is our desire to accommodate every patient that calls with an illness on the same day. This commitment to our patients may result in a longer wait to see your provider. Your provider may be running behind schedule due to a patient with complications from an illness or a delay due to a hospital admission. Please be patient with your provider. This area of the country is unique due to the amazing increase in population during the winter months. It has been calculated that the population in the Casa Grande region increases by over 20,000 people during the winter months. This increase brings its positives and negatives. We prefer to look at the positives. Our providers will do their very best to accommodate your request to see a provider on the same day. Please assist us by being patient and understanding of the patients around you.
