Make appointments for preventative care
(physicals, routine check-ups) as far in advance
as possible to allow you the best selection of
dates and times.
Be prepared to tell the appointment receptionist
which provider you wish to see, and the reason
for the visit. This allows the receptionist to make
certain you get the right time and attention you
deserve. Any information you give to any
member of our staff is held in strictest
confidence.
Physicians typically provide special availability
for patients with acute (sudden) illness. Such
"sick" visits allow patients to be seen sooner
than patients who need routine care. Tell the
receptionist if this is your situation. If your
physician is away from the office or has already
completely filled their schedule, you are welcome
to see another physician who has an available
appointment. You may be sure your primary
physician receives information about your visit
from their associates. Nurses are available to
assist you and the receptionist in determining
